Hazel drew this in honor of my niece Libby’s birthday.
Once again–I’m gob-smacked.
Save it, frame it! It’s early art by a master! (Make her sign it.) I have a friend who has two of Christiansen’s very early works but they are NOT signed. Too bad.
Well, maybe once she knows how to write her name . . . 🙂
Also, I LOVE my kids’ artwork and usually can’t bear to part with it–and it is taking over our home. (You should see the Emily Dickinson board game Mabel made in 5th grade–it’s SO pretty and poetic.)
Wow. It really depicts the feelings she has for her eldest cousin. I’m touched.
Jane, you are very insightful.
