Sometimes my facebook status has to double as a blog post

With help from Dean, I cooked nutritious dinners the last two days. I went to bed at a reasonable hour last night. I’ve been shuttling the kids around, done heaps of laundry, piles of Primary paperwork, and supervised the kids’ chores. Today I’m ironing and mending. I have three appointments this evening, and two tomorrow. And I have many more things on my to-do list.

I miss the internet.

Oh, my goodness–I just noticed that not only are the kittens in this picture behaving just like my kids, but, like the sculpture at the L.A. temple, this cat family has the same number and genders of kids as mine:

    Sounds like your family is just the ideal. I sometimes do an internet “fast” for certain hours of the day, and I am amazed and embarrassed at what things I accomplish.

      Well, my family is the ideal from 50-80 years ago, anyway. (The L.A. sculpture dates from the 1950s, and I don’t know when the cat illustration was made, but I’d guess early 20th Century.)
