Everybody’s baby is a genius, especially mine

While I was busy creating a festive new header, Hazel sneaked out of the gated living room (she waits for one of the kids to leave the gate unlatched) and played with a canister of black-eyed peas in the kitchen, WITHOUT dumping all of them out. (She only dumped some of them out.) Next, she found a little silver plastic tube–I think it’s a Bionicle piece–and put it in a stacking cup. Then she pretended to drink from the straw. GENIUS BABY.

She’s also good at eating bananas, and at growing eyelashes.
