Trouble in Chairland (a/k/a “With Parents Like These, Who Needs Enemies?”)

Remember how Mabel made up a song celebrating the rights of chairs?

Well, now Dean has a little song, too, and it goes like this:

Here comes the woodcutter with his axe

He’s coming to Chairland to make his attacks

But Dean himself is not without enemies, such as Rose, whose newfound writing abilities allow her to taunt him:

I hear that just being told he’s a baby has been known to make Dean cry like one, but when Rosie really wants to topple his defenses, she’s been known to shout, “You don’t have any parents!”

OK. I love this insult. I’m going to have to use it on someone sometime…”Oh yeah. Well, you don’t have any parents!!” Perhaps it will confuse them long enough I can think of something else clever in the meantime.
