Hair bows part II

I was having a hard time getting the loops on the bows to spread, and started thinking I’d reversed two steps in making the bows. Sure enough, I’d been gathering the centers before spreading the loops.  The right sequence of steps works much better. I was tempted to take apart and redo the ones from last night, but the hot glue really is permanent.

These striped ones (below) are for rainbow day in Rose’s class next week. The flag ones are my favorites so far; I might have to make another set so Mabel and Rose can both wear a pair next 4th of July.

It’s nice that the supplies are cheap so a goof isn’t very costly.  I’m having fun using ribbon I’ve had stashed for quite a while.

Tuesday morning update–I like the red bows fine (no need to send them to a thrift store.) (I like my kids fine, too.)
