    awesome story!

  3. Mrs. Organic says:

I’m going to read this to my daughter for her bedtime story. Yes, she’s still up. Blast those late afternoon naps!

  4. Wendy says:

What a wonderful story! I am going to share it with my grandchildren. I know they will love it.
    Keep writing stories!

  5. jrh98409 says:

Loved it. I found it especially interesting that the parents were the ones to consider euthanasia and shunning, yet the siblings were against the ideas–including the purple kitten, who had a political voice in the family despite her état déclassé. (So glad she didn’t make us go through the nonsense of the royal ball and the prince’s search for the owner of the slipper.)

  6. geoff says:

“charming! delightful! well developed and thoroughly entertaining. we didn’t fall asleep even once!” rave the boston globe and new york times (whose editors read the story simultaneously in a critical time warp). “the stuff of champions. bravo, kitties!” applauds the seattle post intelligencer. “we couldn’t put it down, a real page burner!”

  7. Jessie W. says:

Mabel is so adorable and imaginative! Fabulous story and I’m certainly glad it had a happy ending! Who did the illustrations, and was it already published?

  8. zstitches says:

Jessie, she did the illustrations. It was made with program/website called “Mighty Authors” where you can write your own story and then self-publish it. It would have had to have more pages before we could order a hardback, but we did order two paperback copies.
