Bedrest one way or another

Now Rose, Henry, Dean and I are all sick. Dean went to work anyway but I’m sure he’s not having the best day. We all have different combinations of the same symptoms: cough, fever, sore throat, pink eyes (Henry has all those symptoms.) And I have no voice. I’ve had the kids watching DVDs or PBS all morning and I did get one short nap in myself, and now that they’re in their naps I’ll be following suit.

I guess the universe is conspiring against our getting the girls’ room painted. Oh, well. At least I didn’t have many outside commitments the beginning of this week (although Rose did have to miss gymnastics this morning.) I have more things to do towards the end of the week, so I guess I’ll be playing it by ear on those.

I’m sorry you’re sick—I hope it goes away quickly!

If you have what I had, it’s the chuck norris of colds/flus. It really kicks butt. Hope you’re all over it soon!

Ugh, I don’t even want to hear that. It’s not like we haven’t been sick already this winter (stomach flu) but this one adds congestion and throat and eye stuff and — yeah.

But I’ll try to be secretly happy if I have to miss out on visiting teaching and Enrichment Committee Meeting and Relief Society Presidency Meeting — there’s got to be a silver lining, right? In fact it would kind of be lame if I were sick through my “days off” and got better just in time to do a bunch of sitting and talking.

  5. That’s what we had a couple weeks ago. Hate it. And it’s not Strepp. It only took 4 Dr. visits to figure that one out, cause it felt so much like Strepp, at least for us.

I think it’s a conspiracy of mattresses. They’re trying to demobilize the humans so they can take over.
