[I started to write this bit in my own words but was informed I was getting it all wrong, so now I’m letting Mabel dictate:]

Mabel plays a game with Isaac all the time where she sacrifices herself so that she can be a “limpless body” for him to drag around. Then there is a robotic voice that comes out of the limpless body and the voice claims that it is the “Spirit of the Limpless Body.” Then Isaac starts whamming the limpless body with a phone book, and then the Spirit of the Limpless Body scolds him, and says, “That’s not how you use the limpless body.” (Mabel knows it’s really called a limp body, but she likes to use the term “limpless.”)

[Back to Zina narrating]

Henry pointed to the boy in the middle of the illustration on the Primary Children’s Songbook and said, “Me!” Then he pointed to a boy on the left and said, “Ike!”

I would take a photo of Henry to show the resemblance, but since he’s sick and has pink eyes and flushed cheeks, right now he looks more like an adorable little demon baby.

Looking at a wedding photo of Dean and me and admiring my “beautiful princess dress” and my “crown” (I guess she means my veil?) Rose says, “Mommy is Daddy’s princess, and Mabel is Isaac’s princess, and I’m Henry’s princess, and Daddy is Mommy’s prince, and Isaac is Mabel’s prince, and Henry is my prince.”

Dean comes into the room and I tell him what Rose said and add, under my breath, “I figured I better not ask who the baby’s prince will be,” but Rose has already gotten there in her thought process, and says, “And for the baby that’s in your tummy, if another baby gets into your tummy it will be a boy so it can be her prince.”
