Another side of Mabel
Isaac got Heelys for his birthday and gave Mabel a sticker that came with them. This is how she used it:
The letters “RE” next to the face were Rose’s attempt to add to the text. Although someone (probably Henry) had torn it down before I could get a picture, at one point Rose had also taped up her temple coloring page from Primary just under Mabel’s note, making for an interesting visual combination.
My brother Andy thinks Mabel’s note would make a good submission to passiveaggressivenotes.com.
Sadly, Isaac doesn’t even really like his Heelys, since they’re harder to learn to use than he was expecting them to be.
I’m putting this in the “My kids actually are funny (and sweet and wonderful)” category, mainly because I don’t feel like creating a whole new category of “My kids are funny but not always so sweet.”

Thanks for the information! And that picture is hilarious. I definitely think you should send it in to PA Notes. I love that site.

Well, I’ve decided I think this note is more accurately just “aggressive” than “passive-aggressive” — unlike some notes that my sisters and I wrote to our mom over the years we were growing up.

Also, if you are already in a bit of a bad mood, I do NOT recommend spending a whole afternoon reading the notes at passiveagressivenotes.com — it will not make you feel optimistic for humanity, at least not for the portion of humanity that has to share dorm rooms with strangers.

That is sooooo funny! She speaks (or rather writes) her mind, doesn’t she…
