All I have to say about The Office tonight
is that even if Andy (make that “Mr. Andy Bernard”) was a HUUUUUGE jerk there at the end,
that was still a fabulous season finale. And the scene where Kevin offered Holly his M&Ms? I had tears in my eyes and difficulty breathing. It feels good to laugh so hard.
By the way, knowing that Toby would be leaving after this episode, I had thought about what would be funny for the new HR person, and I thought, “It would be funny if it were a woman who was cutesy and touchy-feely.” In my version she was also somewhat manipulative rather than genuinely syrupy sweet and dumb as a post, but, still, I’m kind of pleased with how close I got with my speculation.

I avoided your blog until I’d seen the office for myself (which was the following day)
I thought the baby was going to belong to Jan’s former secretary, the singing guy (”you took me by the hand, and you maaa-ade me a man”)…
