This is when I wish my blog template would allow me to post really BIG pictures — oh, well. Maybe someday I’ll find a better way to blog; until then, I just try to crop and resize the best I can. Also, I could point out that I am brave and humble to post pictures of myself that are anything less than completely flattering (no cropping and resizing there) although I guess pointing out my courage sort of diminishes the humility aspect.

Love the pictures. What a beautiful family you are! No wonder you didn’t “play” with the pictures any, there is no need to girl, you look great!!!! Anyway, thanks for sharing your breathtaking pictures.

Well, Dean figured out tonight that in my photo-editing software it was set to the wrong filter when I resized (no I don’t know what any of that means) and he also says he wasn’t the one who set it to that but it sure wasn’t me so I guess it was leprechauns. He said if I re-resize all theseagain they’ll look lots better, but when I offered to let him do it for me, he declined — so I guess I’ll live with imperfectly filtered pics.
(Oh, and thank you, Laura!)

That’s a cool contrast. It would be fun to put the two pictures side by side. I need to re-resize all these pictures, since Dean’s comment that my pictures all looked bad is slowly eating at me. (It’s true, too — I used the right filter for the batch of pics on the Emerald Pools trail, and they’re much better.)
