A few Rosie quotes

“I want to watch ‘Lady and the Rat.‘”

* * *

While eating an empty sugar cone* and some Club crackers, she points to the open end of the cone, then the pointy end of the cone, then the cracker, and says, “Circle, triangle, reptangle.”

* * *

“Santa Claus brought us some cones! That was so nice of him! Santa Claus brought us lots of food!”

* * *

“Beriwinkle’s sad because her friend Plum went away, so what can Beriwinkle do? I know! She could make a note, and send it to Plum!”**

    —————————

    *I gave her one of these when it was the only thing she would eat when she was sick a couple of weeks ago; now she thinks it’s a normal foodstuff. And who am I to argue? (This is meant only as a rhetorical question.)

    ** I’m sure this is the plot of an episode of “Blue’s Clues.”

      I love it!! And I love your blog too! I’ve been stalking you since you sent out the announcement of its creation, but kept thinking that I’d better write you a longer how-is-it going email before I just up and commented out o’ the blue. But here I am after seeing your comments on my blog. So here’s to cyber-friendship. I love technology. And tell Mabel that she can come to visit anytime. We’d love to come for next year’s tree bonfire…..what a smashing idea!

      Well Mabel is now planning a trip to Delaware for us this summer. And don’t worry, I feel mostly caught up just from reading your blog. :) Speaking of which, I saw you’re coming out to Utah this month — do let us know if you have any free time, and let’s try to get together.
