« Mabel and Rose were out on the trampoline,
I’m not sure whether she thinks this is a good thing or a bad thing »

And then Mabel came inside and said,

“Mom, I’m starting a daycare, so if you ever need someone to watch Rose or Henry, I’m on the job!”

(Rose has cheered up and has followed her back outside.  I should go get them their lunch.)

    She’s up for it (although she’s not as sure about watching Brandon and Ethan since they’re near her age.) I’ll just send her and Rose and Henry on over to your house to watch them all over there — Henry feels the same way about toilets that Maddie does, so they’ll have great fun — and then you and Brandon and Dean and I will go stay at a nice resort in the Caribbean for a couple weeks. It will be perfect!

    (I have a neighbor who has two kids about the same ages as Mabel and Rose, and I just found out she has a nanny, and I thought, “Why don’t I have a nanny?”)
