Just a small update on the science project emergency
So, it turns out that Dean knew that the science fair was next week, so it hadn’t occurred to him that the project would be due for grading a week ahead of that. Because of that, Isaac lost 15% because he didn’t yet have his purpose statement and his bibliography, but his teacher did say it was a great project. (It has to do with a magnetic brake and with an, um, gee I can’t even remember the terminology. Oh yeah, a Halbach array — I think that’s how it’s spelled.)
Also, they did bring scissors and managed to tape the copper pipe to the display board, (although the tape didn’t hold very well.)
(I have no idea why the title of this post is all spread out like that. I’m so lost figuring out this blogging stuff.)
